Welcome To University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
The University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (UNAAB) was established on January 8, 1988 by the Federal Government when four Universities of Technology, earlier merged in 1984, were demerged. This led to the creation of the first two Universities of Agriculture in Abeokuta and Makurdi.

On the same date, Professor Nurudeen Olorun-Nimbe Adedipe was appointed the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the University. Professor Adedipe assumed duty on January 28, 1988, the date which has been adopted as the foundation day of the University.

 Professor Balogun was born in Abeokuta on October 19, 1953.He is a Professor of Animal Nutrition in University of Ilorin, who obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition from the University of Ibadan in 1975 and a Doctorate also in Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition in 1979 from the same University.

Successful candidates who have checked and confirmed their names on the provisional admission list are to pay the sum of N25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only) as Acceptance Fees immediately but NOT LATER THAN 15TH FEBRUARY, 2010.

*All admitted candidates are to complete their acceptance registration form not later than 15th of February, 2010. Failure to register on or before this date will lead to loss of offer of the admission!

* CANDIDATES SHOULD PLEASE NOTE THAT 1ST, 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH BATCHES ARE ALL IN THIS LIST.

Method of Payment Candidates accepting the offer of provisional admission are required to do the following IMMEDIATELY:

* Pay into any one of UNAAB Bank accounts indicated below, a non-refundable fee of N25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only) as acceptance fee.

* Each new student is to pay a separate N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira Only) as ICT training fee and must attend the COMPULSORY FOUR weeks computer training planned for each prospective student before the resumption of studies as the University has embraced e-learning, e-examination and more importantly because all future examinations of the University will be on-line and ICT-based.

* For access to the University Eduportal, each candidate is to purchase a scratch card for the sum of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira Only)

* Prospective candidates for admission should note that they are to collect payment tellers for each of the transactions with the Banks and keep these as evidence of payment during the final interview and during registration for courses thereafter.
