ASSET, an international Journal of Agricultural Sciences, Science, Environment and Technology is an official Journal of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.The Journal provides appropriate medium for dissemninating high quality and original research findings, critical topical reviews , technical notes/short communications on emmerging technologies and innovations among scientists worldwide, promoting scholarship in each of its three series;
- Series A: Agricultural Science and Environment
- Series B: Natural sciences, Engineering and Technology
- Series C: Humanities and Social Sciences.
All papers published in ASSET are independently peer reviewed by selected referees on the recommendations of the Sectional Editors acting on behalf of the Editorial Board. The board adjudicates when reviewer’s reports are in conflict with one another.
The first issue of ASSET, Series A Volume 1 Number 1 was released in the year 2001 while the first issue in the B Series, i.e., Volume 1 Number 1 was released in 2003. However, owing to the increasing demand in publication of article in ASSET Journal, articles in the Humanities and Social Sciences were also allowed, the first issue of Series C Volume 1 Number 1 was released in 2006.

Recently, the Editorial Board of ASSET has added more scholars to its membership. Also, it has added a group of renowned scholars both at national and international levels as advisory board members in their respective fields.
