Feeling good about yourself is absolutely necessary to attract what you want. Your actions are also important because what you do connects your inner world to your outer experience. Taking action is powerful because “doing” is a way of “being” which tells The Universe that you are committed to “having.”

Set yourself up for success by doing somthing that shifts your energy. Anything you do that moves your energy closer to the energy of your desires causes The Universe to move mountains on your behalf. And nothing ramps up the process like making a gesture that changes the physical world in some way.

Whether you want to attract relationships, abundance, or good health, you will get it faster by thinking and acting in ways that clearly demonstrates to The Universe you expect to succeed.

If you want the perfect relationship

Keep in mind there is no such thing as a perfect man or woman. Relationships between imperfect people can be wonderful and fulfilling, but they are always imperfect.

Also keep in mind that you always attract someone who is a match for you in terms of energy. If you need validation from a lover, you will attract the right person to teach you that you need to learn to validate yourself. If you are unhappy with yourself, the person you attract will either help you learn, through unhappy experiences, how to be happy with yourself, or will be just as co-dependant on you to make them happy. Who you get depends on what you’ve asked for and what you expect.

The key to attracting a loving, supportive relationship, or turning the one you have now into a better one, is to be loving and supportive of yourself first. If your core belief is that you are not worthy, you will attract a match to those beliefs in one form or another. When you believe down to your core that you deserve to be happy and to have a deep, committed, inter-dependant, mutually supportive relationship with someone who is also happy with themselves, then, you will naturally do what you are inspired to do to attract that person.

In terms of setting yourself up for success, I recommend getting happy with yourself first. Certainly, practice makes near-perfect. However, human relationships are so important and so delicate that people who are insecure and tend to beat themselves up over every little thing are not in the best position to practice, just yet. So if this is you, go slow and do some home improvement before you go out and make gestures. Learn to Be Gentle with Yourself and Expand your Comfort Zone.
