Bibliography
An account of the state of study of Yoruba textiles and costume was reviewed and it shows many gaps yet to be filled (paper 34).

Textile/Dress Exhibitions
The exhibition write-up focused on theme usage.  I recommended the adoption of the least used folk-tale motifs for designing (paper 14, 15, 16, 17, 18). Social history commentaries were also promoted in the designs (papers 19, 20, 21, 22). Besides, I recommended the exploration of the least applied T-shirt as a tool for spreading religious beliefs as well as for celebrating other worthy themes (papers 23, 24).

Conclusion
I teach textiles and clothing at the undergraduate (B.Sc Home Science and Management) and Postgraduate (M.Sc Textiles and Clothing and Ph.D Textiles and Clothing) levels. I was involved over the past 30 years in the development of simple prototypes (R & D) which could aid the growth of the cottage industry. I have contributed to knowledge in unearthing many mysteries surrounding why, how and when the Yoruba produced some of their wears and dressed the way they did in the past. My contribution hopefully could be a part of compendium of knowledge for observing the least studied history of Yoruba textiles and clothing in future.
