Prof. Adeyemi Mustafa BAMGBOSE

Prof. Adeyemi Mustafa BAMGBOSE was born 15th May, 1962 at Ikorodu area of Lagos State, Nigeria to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja M.A. Tiamiyu Bamgbose of Igbesa area of Ogun State, Nigeria.

He started his elementary education at Ibadan City Council Primary School, Ibadan in 1968 and Secondary education at Baptist Grammar School, Ibadan in 1973, where he obtained WASCE (1978) and later proceeded to Adetola Odutola College, Ijebu-Ode in 1978 where he obtained H.SC (1980) respectively. He proceeded to the premier University, University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 1980 and bagged B.Sc (Biochemistry) in 1983; M.Sc (Agric. Biochemistry and Nutrition) in 1985 and Ph.D (Animal Nutrition) in 1988.

Prof. A.M. Bamgbose started his working experience as a tutor at Baptist High School, Benin (1983-1984), Farm Supervisor (1985 - 1987), Farmer Manager (1988 - 1990), and lecturing experience as Lecturer II (1990) at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and later proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Bauchi as Lecturer I and rose to the post of Senior Lecturer at the same University. He joined the best University in Nigeria in 1997, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as a Senior Lecturer and rose to the position of Professor of Animal Nutrition at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Prof. A.M. Bamgose is a diligent, humble, humane and an accomplished lecturer with an international repute, with good human relation and unquestionable integrity who is committed to selfless excellence in service to administration of his professional calling - academics.

Prof. A.M. Bamgbose has a keen interest in research and has authored quite a number of publications in both local and international journal.
